Biggie Smalls (The Notorious B.I.G.) track, “Big Poppa” was the second single from his debut album ‘Ready To Die’. Released in 1994 on Bad Boy Records, the album became a commercial success and has been regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. The song was also nominated for a Grammy, and certified Platinum in 1995. In 1997 Biggie was murdered just days prior to the release of his second album 'Life After Death'.
