'Motor', our recycled polyester boardshort with contrast side panels and bold branding down the leg, courtesy of artist Joaquin Motor. The 22" length sits below the knee with a straight cut, while contrast topstitching and water-resistant fabric keep it functional in and out of the water. Motor's artwork adds that unmistakable tattoo-shop energy.

1. Chest

Wrap the tape measure around your upper back, under your armpits and the fullest part of your chest, checking in the mirror to ensure the tape measure is straight. Tape measure should be firm but not tight.

2. Waist

Tape measure should sit around the smallest point of your waist and should be firm but not tight (above belly button and below your rib cage).
