Bangalow Koalas is planting a wildlife corridor across the Northern Rivers, right in our own backyard, so koalas can move, feed and breed safely again. Over 560,000 trees are in the ground since 2019, and the goal is 850,000 by 2030.
They need to get there. East coast koalas are now endangered, listed in 2022 and one step closer to extinction. Decades of land clearing have left them stranded in shrinking patches of bush, where dogs, cars and disease do the rest.
