WE GREW OUR FIRST HEMP CROP

On a hemp revolution mission, we purchased 100 acres of farmland called Sleepy Hollow - here we are almost a year later, and we've grown our first hemp crop! To celebrate, we took our team out to the farm to admire the crop and play with some baby animals. 

We purchased our Sleepy Hollow farm to build a hemp processing facility for research and development into our favourite super fibre, hemp. Our goal was to grow our own hemp fibres in the hope of eventually bringing the manufacturing process back to our soil and seeing our products through from seed to skin. Well, it's been quite the journey, but here we are almost a year later, and we have grown 3 acres of hemp!

We've learnt a lot in the process, but we're stoked to have 250 kg of harvested hemp ready to be sent to our offshore production company to test the quality of the fibres and determine whether they're ready to be spun into our threads. If they pass the test, we're on track to reaching our goal and becoming the first Australian company to produce their own hemp fibres to be used in future collections.
