FROM HEMP PLANT TO CLOTHING

Hemp has been part of what we do for years, but what actually goes into turning the plant into the clothes we wear?

Our team recently travelled to China to get a closer look at the process, visiting one of our long-standing manufacturing partners, who we've worked with for over 10 years. Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the people and processes involved in making our hemp clothing, from raw fibre through to finished garments.

Hemp is one of the fastest-growing natural fibres, requiring minimal water and pesticides. It's also naturally breathable, UV resistant and biodegradable.

From processing the raw fibres and spinning them into yarn, to dyeing, knitting and weaving the fabric before it's cut and sewn into garments, there's a lot that goes into bringing hemp clothing to life.

Even leftover hemp stalks are put to use, helping power the factory alongside solar energy. Making more from less.
