Propaganda 3.0 Hemp Boardshorts

Our Propaganda 3.0 Hemp Boardshort are a sustainable surf trunk made from hemp, are mould resistant, and cut to a classic 18" fit. Buttery when wet, these eco-friendly trunks are our go-to in all surf conditions.

In 1937, some dick named Harry J. Anslinger and a bunch of his mates began releasing the anti-hemp propaganda displayed on these trunks to make marijuana and hemp illegal for their own private agenda and political profit. Harry made the world believe that pot-fuelled orgies, bong-smoking murderers and a one way trip to the looney bin, would be the way of life after just one puff.

We specifically chose to create these shorts from hemp to show that fashion can be environmentally friendly and still be of the highest quality. The fashion industry is one of the planet's biggest offenders of using plastics and pesticides with unsustainable materials such as cotton and polyester, so we set out to kill the negative stigma surrounding hemp and help move the industry in a renewable direction.

To create the Propaganda Hemp photoshoot and video we set up our mate JS and model Sabrina down on Belongil Beach with the new boardies, a sofa, TV and a bag of weed and this is the end result...
