On a sunny morning, the Afends team packed up the car and jetted up to Brisbane to shoot the Spring campaign ‘Stray Cats’ and discover all that the city streets had to offer.
The collection draws its inspiration from those who break free from the regime and make their own way - not following any path at all - creating their own.
Featuring gorgeous newcomer, Breanna Doyle, the campaign got off to a shaky start with the team being shooed off front lawns in the quirky suburb of West End. But, true to form, they found their groove - emerging into the unknown, taking back streets and alleys to create the perfect backdrop for the photoshoot.
The collection itself offers a subdued mix of cosy fleece, classic Hemp and statement pieces. In a muted colour palette of greens, browns and lilacs, the collection offers the perfect solution to easing wardrobes into the warmer months for another year.
Key pieces include the Dylan Overalls and Smith Pants, both in a statement Deep Navy Check Twill. Layer the Dylans with a long sleeve tee, pair of tights and some chunky boots for the perfect trans-seasonal look. The Olsen denim dress is going to be a favorite all year round with its structured shape and timeless style. The Back Alley Cats long sleeve tee is the namesake of the collection, featuring artwork by New Zealand artist Blake Gordon.
Stray Cats is a small and concise collection, created with the customers needs in mind.
Go somewhere you’ve never been and take Afends with you.
