Tripping with Garrett Parkes

Our mate Gaz has been real busy on his stick lately. Giving us an edit from a mental South Oz trip right before picking up a bunch of new season garms and shooting off to Indo. Check the clips and back story from both jaunts below.

"Soooo pretty much my good mate Kane @kaptainkirky phoned me last minute and said he was going out to the desert for a few days and asked if I wanted to go, I jumped on a flight and headed down the next day, drove all night, slept in the dunes and woke up and surfed. The next few days pretty much just surfed all day and drank beers every arvo. Lots of tailgate cook ups, crusty and sandy the whole time, pumping waves and minimal crowds!"

"A couple of weeks later I wanted to bolt over to Indo for a quick surf trip. I phoned Kane and convinced him to drop his work commitments and jump on board. We met up in Denpasar and Island hopped west from Bali via plane, ferry and taxi. We arrived and immediately got into the Bintangs. Surf-wise, options were limited, with strong trade winds getting up mid mornings but we made the most of the waves we had. Surfing some fun rippable rights and some chunkier lefts. Our accomodation couldn’t have been in a better spot, perched upon a hill overlooking one of the regions best waves. Merdeka House had a great vibe with ice cold beers, a pool table and awesome Indo food cooked up each night by one of the local lady's at the villa. 7 days flew by and we left surfed out with sunburnt eyes and grateful for the waves, food and good times experienced."
